Keep a funding folder

• Company registration documents
• A current tax compliance status PIN
• A B-BBEE certificate or affidavit
• A bank confirmation letter
• Recent financial statements or management accounts
• A one-page business profile and your tourism grading certificate, if you have one
• Quotes for anything you would want funded

Update it every quarter

Tax PINs and bank letters expire. Put a reminder in your calendar to refresh them every three months.
